Cardamom & Blueberry Oatmeal

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking Time 3 minutes Servings 1

Ingredients

¾ cup quick oats

1¼ cup water

½ cup unsweetened almond milk, divided 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

¼ heaping teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon cardamominutes

Handful walnuts

Handful dried currants

Directions:

Place the water into a small saucepan and bring to the boil.
Add the oats, stir through, reduce the heat to medium and Cooking Time: for 3 minutes.
Add half of the milk, stir again and Cooking Time: for another few seconds.
Remove from the heat and leave to stand for 3 minutes.
Transfer to a bowl and to with the remaining ingredients. Drizzle with the milk then serve and enjoy.
